The 1964 Margaux is a chunky specimen, with good color, but a rather dumb, old grapey aroma, a fleshy, tannic texture, but quite curiously, no real resemblance to a wine from Margaux. Perplexing, but drinkable. Anticipated maturity: Now-probably in serious decline. Last tasted, 9/77.
