The 2000 Bricco Manzoni is the current version of Piedmont’s pioneering Barbera-Nebbiolo blend. It features plenty of cinnamon and intensity along with its plum and red berry fruit, a more significant tannic backbone, and good roundness as well. It will last longer than the Barbera d’Alba, at least until 2012.
