The big-styled, surprisingly deep pink/copper-colored 1999 Rose Reserve displays a Pinot Noir-like perfume of pomegranate, bay leaf, earth, and spice. Bold, rich, expansive, and dense, it is an atypically, almost shockingly powerful, rich Champagne. It should age beautifully for 5-7 years. I loved it!
