The 2014 Meursault 1er Cru Les Genevri?res is another to add to the tally of great wines from this vineyard in this growing season. It has a feisty, spicy, walnut-scented bouquet that leaps from the glass - aromatics that demand your attention. The palate is harmonious with a resinous quality, superb salinity with a long, marine-influenced, almost Condrieu-like finish. There is a lot going on in this Meursault, even at this early stage, and it may warrant a higher score once in bottle.
