The 2014 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets has chalk, hazelnut and smoke on the well-defined, but tightly coiled nose. The palate is full of green apple and fresh pear on the entry, a little creaminess towards the texture with almond and white chocolate notes on the persistent finish. This is yet another outstanding Chassagne-Montrachet from Lucien le Moine.
