The 2018 Corton-Renardes Grand Cru is limited to just one barrel. Fragrant on the nose, it oers cranberry, raspberry coulis and light dark chocolate scents, perhaps just a bit heavy on the oak (not that a single barrel gives you many options). The palate is medium-bodied with ne tannins and a gentle grip. I appreciate the pastille-like purity here, gentle and mellow. Drink now and over the next decade.
