Bright ruby-red. Liqueur-like black cherry, espresso and a light floral topnote on the nose. Sweet, lush and stylish; today this comes across as much gentler than the '99-in direct contrast to the natural tendencies of these two vintages. Lovely red and black berry flavors carry through to the firmly tannic finish.
