The 2013 Morey Saint Denis les Tres Girard has an enticing bouquet that is very well defined: blackberry, flint and wet rocks ? like the Bourgogne Rouge expressing the mineral core over the fruit. The palate is underpinned by fine tannins, quite reserved for a Morey Saint Denis but with fine tension and mineral notes toward the finish.
