Medium red. Reserved nose offers black cherry, dark raspberry, summer garrigue scents and exotic spices, all accented by a whiff of pepper. Sweet, fat and fairly full but with excellent energy to the black cherry and pepper flavors. Really vibrates on the broad back end, where the tannins are in perfect balance with the wine's fruit. A compelling village offering.
